Please note, this house is in true kiwi batch style, so bed linen and towels ARE NOT supplied. We will provide pillows and duvets with covers. All 5 single beds are king singles so double sheets will fit, single sheets will not. If you want to hire bed linen and towels, please contact me directly.
No bed can be used without sheets!
The downstairs has a small bathroom and a single room with two single beds. The large main room has 1 queen size bed in the corner by the large windows and in the rest of the room is a pool table, tv and table and chairs where you can play board games, cards etc.
Stairs to the top level are shallow and easy to navigate. There is a child safety gate at the top of the stairs that can be pulled across and latched.
The lounge and dining room share the same space and open out to a large deck with outdoor lounge furniture and BBQ. There is a sun shade that can extend over the lounge area on the hot summer days.
The kitchen is compact but has all the essentials to cook and serve delicious meals. If you don't feel like cooking, Flat White cafe is less than a 5 minute walk away and right on the beach front, and the village shops and cafes are also only a 5 minute walk. You will be spoilt for choice. North end dairy, behind the surf club do the best fish and chips in the area and best enjoyed on the beach!
There is a washing machine and dryer in the main bathroom with a toilet, plus a separate toilet in a separate room.
There is also 1 bedroom with 2 king single beds, 1 bedroom with 1 king single bed and 2 bedrooms with king beds.
If you move any of the furniture, please put it back when you leave.
The BBQ is there for you to use, but please clean it when you leave.
We want our guests to have a wonderful stay and enjoy the house and section, but we do ask that you respect the Neighbours right to peace and quiet so ask that you observe quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. This is the time to take your music indoors :)
Waihi Beach has a patrolled swim area down at North end outside the surf club. If you feel like walking, there is the walk over the hill to Orokawa Bay. Allow 1.5 hours return. You can walk up to the trig, accessed off the end of Fyfe Road or take a drive to Karangahake Gorge where there are plenty of walks on offer from as short as 2km right up to day walks. There is something for everyone and the scenary is amazing !
